14th February - Super Simple Suppers - 1 space available

The idea is to take things out of the frying pan and into well, everything else.  We'll do loads of different dishes using different techniques, from poaching to steaming, baking and roasting,  There are loads of transferable skills and changeable recipes, But the principle is that nothing takes longer than 20 minutes. Chicken with honey and tomato, steamed seabass with spring onion and ginger,  roast halibut (or cod) with a pesto or salsa verde crust, the simple rules of great stir fries, a moules marinieres and an artichoke with egg vinaigrette.

28th February D of E Bronze (or silver) 2 spaces available

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AFTER SCHOOL ON THURSDAY

This is the last set of Bronze D of E that I am likely to do this year.  It's an after school cooking set - the first session of 4.  There are 2 spaces available for 14-15 year olds.  They don't necessarily have to be doing D of E but if they are, this can count as their life skill  

 

Raw food - 14th March - 3 spaces available

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS AN EVENING

Jumping on the bandwagon of the hottest trend in restaurants at the moment, this involves tiraditos and ceviches, carpaccios. tartares and salsas.  It's fabulously simple but seriously classy.  £60 per head.

Bread and Pastry Making - 20th March - 5 spaces

Again - much requested but difficult to schedule.  This  involves making bread (obvs) and puff pastry as well as sweet pastry and choux - and all the lovely things you can make out of them, from toast to profiteroles and eclairs.  You eat well here and you get plenty to take home as well..  It's a real full on course - roll up your sleeves and get stuck in.   £60 a head

Vegan

Ideal for those who have a partly vegan household - dishes that tick all the vegan boxes, but are equally good with a little added protein for the non-vegans at the table.
