As promised, the Mashed and Smashed classes are just about ready to begin again.

First up is the Cocktail and Canapé Masterclass run by the one and only Banjo Bemand and myself.  Banjo will be bringing his deep knowledge of cocktail making to the party - he'll be teaching how to get the flavour balance right in Daiquiris and passing on the secrets of a perfect Spicy Margarita (my favourite).  He will introduce great ideas for livening up Prosecco and show the ultimate in the closing cocktail of any night - the Espresso Martini.  I will be making canapés to match - spiced prawn and avocado on toast, crab with nam jim sauce on seaweed,  pimientos de padron, chicken satays and a couple of others.  

It's the first time we have done this course - the first time we have ever done a course together, so we're going to do it at the cut price of  £60 a head.  Please - adults only.  The evening will last between 3 and 4 hours and there will be at least 4 cocktails per head, plenty of canapés and plenty of experimenting.

 

The course will only run if we have enough people but the date we can both do it is  3rd August.

Also, and I know this is short notice, a couple of you have asked me to do a course before the end of the month - so I am putting one in.  Dishes that have been requested are Brazilian Prawn Mocqueca, Gazpacho and Paella and Pavlova, so I'll add another fab fishy dish in there and we will have a complete feast!  

I can do this on 29th July if there are enough takers.  I need at least 4 to make it work - it's more fun with 6.  So let me know as soon as you can if you are interested.  It will be £70 if there are only 4 people, but I will take it down to £60 if there are 6 or more
